Below is a short account from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police Facebook page:
WDFW Officer Hughes and Sgt. Anderson responded to a call of a deer stuck in a gate in Region 5. The deer had tried to go between the two anchor point posts on a heavy driveway gate, but got stuck at his hips. They were able to free the deer without the use of drugs to immobilize him.
Once freed, the deer immediately tried to run back between the posts, but Sgt. Anderson was able to use an offensive lineman move to block it from getting stuck again.
