The boot’s upper is made from a combination of durable suede and abrasion-resistant nylon for rugged durability that stands up tall to late season’s demands – all without weighing you down, so you can move with speed and agility through technical terrain, season after season. Even better, these materials require minimal break-in time, so you can get out there as soon as possible.
The Ursa LS is outfitted with a GORE-TEX liner to provide 100% waterproof protection that still allows feet to breathe, for reliable protection and comfort. You’ll stay warm and dry when rain storms roll through without overheating when the sun breaks out as you’re scrambling up steep ridges. The boot features a four-way stretch collar around the ankle that provides a comfortable, secure fit and prevents debris from entering so you can stay firmly focused on the hunt.
Underfoot, LaCrosse outfitted the Ursa LS with a bi-fit board that combines the shank, lasting board, and midsole into a single platform that reduces weight without sacrificing support, keeping you moving quickly and confidently across rugged, variable terrain. The midsole is made from rubberized EVA material that supplies exceptional cushioning and shock absorption. The midsole is wrapped in a 360-degree mudguard that projects with the boot with enhanced abrasion resistance and durability.
LaCrosse collaborated with Vibram®, the industry-leading outsole manufacturer, to create a custom outsole for the Ursa LS. Deep, self-cleaning lugs shed mud and debris with ease, while Vibram® Traction Lug Technology features increased surface area to provide reliable grip on extreme terrain and through both dry and wet conditions.
The Ursa LS is the latest release in LaCrosse’s new Ursa Collection, following in the footsteps of last year’s revolutionary midseason boot, the Ursa MS, and the Ursa ES designed specifically for the demands of early season. Later this year, LaCrosse will introduce the Ursa LS 400g, built to tackle the harshest conditions and terrain you’ll encounter.
